Today, Dubrovnik is being discovered by more travelers and it has every right to be. From its beautiful setting right on the Dalmatian coast, to it’s perfectly intact walls which allow you to walk all the way around the city this city shows you why it has survived many attacks including the Yugoslav wars in the early 90’s. Having visited Dubrovnik last year I can say that it most definitely belongs on your list of places to see before you die. The water is oh so blue, the weather is warm, the prices aren’t too steep (maybe steep for Eastern Europe) and it’s also a port city so you can head to many places after stopping here. Also they have some gelato that can compete with Italy.
