Ao Phang Nga National Park, Thailand
Ao Phang Nga National Park is located in southern Thailand close to the island of Phuket. It consist of the now popular tourist attraction, Phang Nga bay. The bay was relatively unknown until the James Bond film: The Man With the Golden Gun was filmed there and feature Ko Tapu island. Because of this unique natural phenomenon, the area became more popular and Ko Tapu coined the name James Bond Island. The entire bay features many beautiful islands that seem to rise right out of the water. They’re unique shape is caused by erosion of the limestone rock which is what they consist of. The most popular way to tour the bay is by boat, so get your life jacket ready and let’s go!
